I have known Becka since the young age of 18 (where has that time gone!?), when we both worked together in Ipswich. I always remember Becka being this happy, smiley, gorgeous girl who was always lots of fun to be around and to talk to!! So when she asked me to be her wedding photographer I was very excited!!
When Becka told me that her dad Ian, who is a local vicar, would be conducting the ceremony for her and her future husband Paul, I knew it would be an emotional day.
The day started in Woodbridge at Becka’s parents house where all the girls had their make-up done by the talented Victoria Maithe, and hair by the fabulous Hannah Coe. The whole morning was so laid back with lots of cups of tea and a very nice brunch too!! 🙂
The ceremony was held at the beautiful St Peters Church in Henley. Becka looked absolutely stunning as she walked down the isle towards Paul. There is something about that moment at every wedding, that always makes me feel so emotional, and I love seeing the faces of the couple when they see one another! Apparently when Becka was little she always said she wanted to sing ‘Who’s the king of the jungle’ at her wedding……..so…….thats exactly what everyone sang at the end! !
The reception was held at All Manor of Events, a 5 min drive from the church. The trees and colours are so vibrant this time of year, and after a few days of rain, the colours were brighter than ever. I knew as soon as I saw the venue that we would get some great outdoor shots!
All of Becka’s family and friends are so so lovely and the whole day was absolutely perfect! Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day and I wish you both lots of love and happiness for your future together as husband and wife!!
Love Helen x
