Saturday 22nd June 2013 was a day I’d been looking forward to so much – the wedding of Annette and Adam. Ever since their engagement shoot back in April, it was clear that capturing them both on their wedding day was going to be effortless, as both are so natural in front of the camera.
The days leading up to the wedding we were offered our traditional British summer gloomy weather and we all nervously held our breath and prayed for sunshine as the big day approached!
Annette played her role to perfection – she looked absolutely stunning in her beautiful Justin Alexander dress. To be honest, I’ve never fallen in love with an item of clothing quite as much as I did that day. Annette looked perfect in every way – and from the look on her dad’s face when he first saw her… you can see for yourself in the photos, he was taken aback with pride for his daughter’s big day.
The wedding took place at the picturesque Long Melford church, and the beautiful bride continued to deliver on a fairytale wedding by arriving via horse carriage.
A lovely service was followed by the reception at the gorgeous Preston Priory Barn. Having been slightly concerned about the prospect of rain, I came fully prepared with numerous umbrellas! However we were lucky enough to not get caught in any of the showers, apart from one very close encounter during the group shot!
Annette and Adam – you both looked amazing on the day, and are a really wonderful couple. I hope you have had a fantastic honeymoon together, and that you enjoy looking through your photos!
