Woodhall Manor – Wedding – Sam and James 16.08.2013

Wow….well what can I say about these two and their awesome wedding day?!

The week leading up to the wedding of Sam and James I called round to their house for a quick chat and a cheeky glass of Rose! It was then as I spoke to Sam that I realised just how amazingly well organised their day was going to be…..this is someone that sets an alarm on her phone to make sure she remembers to drink a cup of green tea!!?! Love that!!!

As the day got closer the forecast was showing rain. Having been to Woodhall Manor on a few occasions now, I was confident that the venue would be amazing whether it was raining or not.

The atmosphere was perfectly calm as Sam and her Bridesmaid Jo had their hair and make-up done by the fantastic Fenella from Fenella St John – Professional Make-up Artist. I just love the white room at Woodhall, the light in their is just perfect for photos. We were joined a little later by Sam and James adorable little girls Ava and Lily . They are just so cute, and in their little dresses they looked even cuter!!! Whilst all the bridal prep was taking place upstairs, James was downstairs making sure all the final arrangements were in place with the tables and the cake………the cake………what a truly awesome cake they chose, just look at the photos to see what I mean!! Check out Vanilla Patisseries for more of their work.

Sam as expected made a stunning bride. Her Justin Alexander dress looked so beautiful. You could see how proud Sam’s mum Sue was when she saw her gorgeous daughter and granddaughters all together. Being part of such a special day and meeting all the lovely people I do, makes me love every single second of my job.

The damp weather conditions meant that the ceremony was to be held inside. James stood patiently at the front as his two girls walked down the isle first with little Ava and Lily becoming slightly overwhelmed by it all!

The weather cleared up just in time for guests to be able to enjoy champagne and canap├ęs on the lawn, whilst I managed to whisk Sam and James off for some quick photos.

The rest of their day followed in this perfect way, with guests enjoying the bbq dinner, touching speeches from Sue and James and then an evening of photo-booth fun and dancing!!

Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!! I hope you enjoy looking through a selection of your photos!!! Thank you also to Steve Hood for being my assistant on the day.
