THE GIRL behind the LENS

Hey there, I’m Helen, a wedding photographer based in Suffolk but I love to travel and shoot weddings wherever they take me! What matters to me is that you like my style and you think we’ll get along, after all, I’ll be with you for most of the day! My mission is to record the biggest day in your lives in an authentic, storytelling style whist getting some beautiful creative shots along the way. And if you want to spend as much of your day with each other and your loved ones and not hours with your photographer, I’m your girl!

My story began with photography in 2011 when I was given my first ever DSLR camera as a birthday present, and my love of taking random photos quickly exploded into a full blown passion!

I began first photographing families and then second-shooting weddings, learning my craft before launching my own business. The thing I love most about my job is meeting people from all walks from life and I’ve made many friends over the years through my work.

One of the biggest compliments I’m given is being frequently asked if I’m a friend of the couple and as I develop such amazing bonds with my couples and I’m often asked to photograph weddings for whole family and friendship groups. I like to think that’s because I really do give my job my all, because I care about your wedding photos just as much as you do.

Throughout the day, I will put you to ease, in my friendly, relaxed style. I’m here to take all the pressure off having your photo taken, because most of the time you won’t even notice me doing it.

And when I am needed to direct you and your guests, don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll find it much more fun (and a lot quicker) than you think!
